1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the HIPPie application, this website, or any services provided by BHware("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • Service — the HIPPie mobile application, the https://www.bhware.com website, and related features.
  • User — any person who accesses or uses the Service.
  • Media — photos and videos processed through the Service.
  • Verification Proof — cryptographic record derived from Media for authenticity verification.

3. Description of Service

HIPPie is a mobile application that verifies the authenticity of photos and videos using privacy-preserving cryptographic verification. The Service enables Users to capture photos or record videos, generate verification proofs, and verify the authenticity of such media.

4. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old (or 14 where required by local law, such as in the Republic of Korea) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

5. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all photos, videos, and content you submit through the Service.
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent the verification system.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to infringe the rights of others
  • Upload, capture, or record content that violates privacy, defamation, obscenity, or intellectual-property laws
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

7. Intellectual Property

The HIPPie application, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of BHware. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent. You retain all rights in the photos and videos you capture.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Verification Proofs serve as technical evidence of authenticity but do not constitute conclusive legal proof in any jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BHware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, liability limits) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction as set out below.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Republic of Korea.
